        Install you filters.

  • Preperation

    Put your foreground colour on solid WHITE
    Change foreground colour into gradient metal copper with settings shown below:
    (If you use other colours, choose a light colour for the foreground and a dark colour for the background and change the gradient to “foreground-background gradient”  increasing the repeats a little. You continue working with your light solid foreground colour and your dark solid background colour.)

    Background colour on black:
    Your material panel stays as follow:


    If you use a different tube, take the same dimensions in height:



    Pay attention by using different colours-- ››
    Feel free to change blend mode and opacity of the layers



    The lesson

  1. File - new image:


  2. Flood fill with the gradient
  3. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur: radius: 45
  4. Layers - merge – merge all layers OBLIGATED!!!!!!!!
    -- ›› Your Layer palette will name this layer “background”
  5. Layers - new raster layer
  6. Selections – Load/save selection from disc and choose:Cathy_selectie_001_tstudio
  7. Flood fill with the background colour black, click right with your mouse button
  8. Selections - select none
  9. Layer palette: opacity 30, blend mode: normal


    This is what you have:

  11. Layer opacity 100::
  12. Effects - plug-in Mura's Meister - Pole transform:

  19. Activate the tube @nn_201007_photos_234_woman_tdstudio.pspimage, edit - copy and paste as a new layer on your working area

  21. Place against the border with the move tool:
  22. Layers - arrange - send to bottom
  23. Layer palette: Layer opacity: 100, blend mode: Soft light:
  24. Layers - merge – merge visibly, put this a side for a moment but do not minimize
  25. Activate a minimized image (you have one more left)::
  26. Layers - merge – merge all
  27. Image –rotate right
  28. Repeat, edit – paste as a new layer, (tube is still in the memory of your PC)
  29. Repeat move with the move tool to the left bottom corner:

  31. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur: radius: 12
  32. Layers - arrange- move down
  33. Activate the top layer, Layer opacity = 85
  34. Image - resize to 387 px height:
    Pay attention: resize all layers checked
  35. Image – add borders 1px black
  36. Repeat add borders 1px, fill it with a lighter colour from your image, I took: #ac4724
  37. Repeat add border 1px black
    This is what you have:

  39. Activate your working area --> Edit - paste as a new layer
  40. Effects – image effects - offset:
  41. Effects - plug-in filter - Alien Skin Eye Candy: Impact - perspective shadow choose my preset: @nn_Cathy_EC5_PS_frame
  42. Activate the psp file @nn_lines_1_.pspimage, edit - copy and paste as a new layer. Move see example
    If you want a different colour act as follows ->File – export – custom brush, but add a new layer on your working layer first, and then stamp it in the colour of your choice (do the same on step 43)

    Leave selection intact!!!!!
  70. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur :radius: 45 Deselect
  71. Layer palette: Layer opacity: 40, blend mode: normal

  73. Selections – deselect all
  74. Flood fill with the background colour BLACK –the selection remains active
  75. Selections - modify -  contract with 1px
  76. Flood fill the selection with the gradient Pay attention: match mode from your flood fill tool is NONE – SELECTION still active
  77. Selections - modify – contract with 1px
  78. Repeat flood fill with the background colour BLACK
  79. Selections - modify – contract with 1px
  80. Edit - cut
  81. Selections - deselect
  82. Save as a jpg
  83. Now we still have to make the background:
