EXTRA EXAMPLE


  • Materials:
      • Selections » put them into your map Selections.
      • Brushes » put them into your map brushes
      • Font: minimize it
      • Preset from EC 5 Impact: put it in a map of your choice. When you use this filter you can import this preset by clicking the button “import”
      • Open your tubes in your PSP-program
      • Gold pattern arguld18.jpg:  store this pattern in your map Patterns
      • Preset lights for PSP XI: (Preset_Lights_Ann Louise Lights.PspScripts) put it  in your map Presets
      • Preset_PaintBrush_@nn_Louise_peren_VI_brushes.PspScript put it in your map Presets

      • Mura's Meister Clouds
      • Graphics Plus
      • Adjust Variations
      • Mura's Meister Perspective Tiling
      • Eye Candy 5: Impact
      • PhotoEffex - Scanlines

        Install your filters.

  • Préperation

Choose a dark colour as Foreground colour (I took #2c2222) and a light one in the same colour range as background colour (I took #5e4f43)

We start with making a background pattern
This pattern can be used too as background in your script
 File – new image  200x200 px transparent:

Flood fill your image with the dark foreground colour #2c2222

Effects - plugin-filter - Mura's Meister - Cloud see settings:
if you use other colours, click on the “reset colors” button

Put the  foreground on pattern and select your gold pattern in the list see settings:

Activate the brush-tool see settings:

Choose brush: @nn_banai_101
Stamp once in the left top corner with the foreground pattern

Effects - Image effects- Seamless tiling:

Save as a JPG
Minimize this pattern.
Go to properties of the background colour and select the pattern you just made

In this lesson we will work with the following colours and patterns


Remember it this way: dark solid colour/gold <<<----->>> light solid colour/your own pattern.

The lesson:

  1. File – new image - transparent see settings:
  2. Put your colours as follow:
  3. Flood fill with foreground colour #2c2222 (dark colour)
  4. Effects - Plugin filter - Mura's Meister - Cloud same settings
  5. Effects - Plugin filter - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow:
    Pay attention by using other colours -->> Adjust Intensity/Brightness to your choice

    This is what you have now:
  6. Layer – new raster layer
  7. Flood fill with the dark foreground colour #2c2222
  8. Effects - texture effects - weave see settings:

  9. Effects - plugin filter - Mura's Meister - Perspective Tiling:
  10. Effects - plugin filter - Adjust Variations - click twice on Darker
  11. Layer palette:: opacity 75, blend mode: normal

  12. Selections – load/save selection – load Selection from disk : Louise_sel001_tdstudio
  13. Delete on keyboard
  14. Activate the selection tool - custom selectionsee settings:
  15. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
    (by light colours, diminish the opacity)
  16. Selections - select none
    This is what you have now:

  17. Layers - merge - merge visible
  18. Effects - illumination effects - Sunburst:

  19. Activate the brush tool see settings:

    Change size to 275 !!!!!!!!!!!!!


    Select following brush in the list --> Tree-brushes-by-Blazter-JavierZHX
    Stamp with the solid dark foreground colour: see example

    Tree not in the right place? Edit – undo - redo
  20. Layer - new raster layer
  21. Selections - selection load/save - Selection load from disk --> Louise_sel002_tdstudio same settings as before
  22. Activate the floodfill tool
  23. Change your solid dark foreground colour into the gold pattern
  24. Flood fill the selection with the gold pattern
  25. Selections - modify - contract 2 px
  26. Delete on keyboard --> KEEP SELECTION
  27. Layer - new raster layer!!!!!
  28. Change foreground colour to solid dark colour #2c2222:
  29. Flood fill selection with the dark foreground colour
  30. Effects - plug-in filter Photoeffex - Scanlines:


  31. Selections - modify - contract 46 px
  32. Delete on keyboard --> KEEP SELECTION
  33. Layer palette - Opacity 100 - blend mode: Soft Light:


  34. Layer - new raster layer
  35. Change the solid dark foreground colour into the gold pattern
  36. Flood fill the selection with the gold pattern
  37. Selections - modify - contract 2 px
  38. Delete on keyboard -->KEEP SELECTION
  39. Change material (click on the little arrows), change foreground to the pattern you made before
  40. Flood fill the selection with your own pattern --> KEEP SELECTION
  41. Effects - illumination effects - lamps and choose my preset: Ann Louise Lights
    If you work with previous versions of PSP, choose: Ann Louise Lights version 9+
  42. Selections - select none
    That is what you have:
  43. Image - Add borders:

    Click  with the right mouse button in this colour, you will see your  recent used colours, choose the dark colour
  44. Activate the magic wand see settings below::

    Pay attention "BINNEN = INSIDE"


  45. Click in the solid part at the right
  46. Change material and put foreground to gradient
    --->>>
    choose “foreground background gradient”, see settings
  47. Flood fill the selection with the gradient --> KEEP SELECTION
  48. Adjust - blur - radial blur:
  49. Effects - plug-in filter Photoeffex - Scanlines:
  50. Selections - invert:
  51. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
  52. Selections - select none
  53. Layer - new raster layer
  54. Change gradient to pattern
    --->>>
  55. Activate the brush tool. see settings:

    In your list, choose this brush @nn_Louise_chain_101
    Stamp see example:
  56. Layers - duplicate
  57. Image - flip
  58. Layers - merge - merge down
  59. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
  60. Layers - new raster layer for the two pears:
  61. Choose preset in the list: see settings
  62. Put the two pears here:
  63. Effects - Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective shadow
    Activate Settings click on  Manage - Import and choose @nn_Louise_EC5_PS_Peren.f1s, click OK
  64. Activate the psp file: @nn_020907_leaves_tdstudio.pspimage
  65. Edit - copy - paste as a new layer and move see example:

  66. Activate tube @nn_210807_photos_170_model2008_1_tdstudio.pspimage, Edit - copy - paste as a new layer
  67. Effects - Imag effects - Offset:

  68. Effects - plug-in filter Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective shadow activate Tab “Settings” click Manage - Import and choose @nn_Louise_EC5_PS_tube.f1s
    Apply this preset and click OK
    You have this now:
  69. Layers - new rasterlayer for the door
  70. Selections – load/save selection – load Selection from disk --> Louise_sel002_tdstudio click load
  71. Activate the flood fill tool, flood fill with the gold pattern
  72. Selections - modify - contract 2 px
  73. Delete on keyboard - KEEP SELECTION
  74. Layers - new raser layer
  75. Foreground colour on solid colour, but choose this colour now #bdb15f
  76. Flood fill the selection
  77. Selections - select none
  78. Layer palette - opacity: 20 - blend mode: normaal
    if you use other colours feel free to change the opacity.

  79. Layers - merge - merge down
  80. Effects - Image effects - Offset: Horizontal offset = 233 --Vert.Offset = 0
    custom and transparent


  81. Put your foreground on the gold pattern, background colour = light solid colour for text:
  82. Activate the text tool see settings (we make the door bud):
  83. Type capital L
  84. Layers - convert to a raster layer
  85. Move see print screen:
  86. Layers - duplicate
  87. Image - flip, move if necessary see example:
  88. Layers - merge - merge down (only the two L are merged)
  89. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
  90. Activate text tool again: see settings:

    Type the word Louise
  91. Layers - convert to a raster layer
  92. Move see example:
  93. Repeat effects - 3D effects - drop shadow: same settings
  94. Selections - select none
  95. Selections - modify - select selection borders
  96. Flood fill the selection with the foreground gold pattern – match mode = none
  97. Selections - select none
  98. Layers - merge - merge all
  99. If you use the script from Annemarie for Outlook Express -->> Image -  resize 900 px width
  100. Save as a JPG
