This tutorial is written by Ann January 25, 2015 with a Dutch version of PSP X7.

  • Materials: 6 Folders in Zip File
      • Folder 1: 1_Images_Inger: Open all files in PSP
      • Folder 2: 2_Pspimages_Inger:Open all files in PSP
      • Folder 3: 3_Maskers_Inger: Copy all files to this folder:
        -->> C:\Users\anneke\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\17.0\Masks
      • Folder 4: 4_Brushes_Inger: Copy all files to this folder:
        -->> C:\Users\anneke\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\17.0\Brushes or
        open the Brushes in PSP and export them as Custom Brush ( File - Export - Custom Brush)
      • Folder 5: 5_Selecties_Inger: Copy all files to this folder:
        -->> C:\Users\anneke\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\17.0\Selections

            Install your Plug-ins.

  • Preperations:
    Set the Foregroundcolor to White #ffffff , Backgroundcolor is not important for this tutorial

    NOTE: It you use your own images or tubes, make them the same size. !!!

    Note: This tutorial is made with X7, but can also be made in other PSP Versions, if not please let Ann know. In previous versions some Blend Mode effects can be different 
    In PSP 14.15 & 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip. There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side. Please install the script > Download here

    From X7 is the original Mirror and Flip option available again.

  1. File - New:
    X6 // X7
  2. Selections - Select All
  3. Activate: image_001.jpg, Edit - Copy
  4. On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection
  5. Selections - Select None
  6. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius: 10
  7. Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur:

  8. Effects - Plugins - penta.com - color dot:

  10. Image - Resize -  85% - Resize all Layers not checked
  11. Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load Mask from Disk -

  18. Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)
  19. Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0  - Color Filters - Color Booster (Default Settings)

  20. Activate: @nn_070615_misted_make-up-faces_tdstudio.pspimage, Edit - Copy
  21. On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer
  22. Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay" and the Layer Opacity to 80%
  23. Move to the Left like this -->>

  25. On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer
  26. Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay" and the Layer Opacity to 60%
  27. Move to the Top Right Corner -->>

  28. Activate: SMALL bestand: @nn_070615_misted_ship-storm_tdstudio_SMALL.pspimage, Edit - Copy
  29. On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer, move to the Left -->>

  30. Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Dodge" and the Layer Opacity to 30%
  31. Activate: image_001.jpg, Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Minimize the original to tray and proceed on the copy
  32. Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load Mask from Disk - @nn_130912_mask_162_tdstudio (Same settings as before)
  33. Layers - Merge - Merge Group
  34. Edit - Copy (do not close the image you where working on, you need it again !!!) -->> Minimize to Tray !
  35. On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer
  36. Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Soft Light"
  37. Layers - Duplicate
  38. Layers - New Raster Layer
  39. Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:   

  40. Fill the Selection with the White Foregroundcolor
  41. Selections - Select None
  42. Effects - Plugins - Mura's Meister - Pole Transform:

  43. Edit - Repeat Pole Transform: Your work looks like this now

  45. Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

  47. Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Soft Light" and the Layer Opacity to 75%
  48. Layers - New Raster Layer
  49. Paint Brush Tool - "@nn_090615_Brush_001_Inger_tdstudio" - No need to adjust the settings
    Zoom in to 60 % to get a better view of the Brush: Stamp with the White Foregroundcolor like this:

  79. Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Minimize the original to Tray and proceed on the copy
  80. Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)
  81. Effects - Reflection Effects - Rotating Mirror
  82. Image - Resize - Width 100 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked
  83. Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame:

  86. Maximize your main work image from Tray:  Edit - Paste As New Layer
  87. Effects - Plugins - Adjust Variations: Click Twice on: More Yellow
  88. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow: 3/3/20/6 Color BLACK #000000
  89. Move where you like it
  90. On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer (The mini frame is still in your PSP memory)
  91. Effects - Plugins - Adjust Variations: Click Once Original, and twice on More Cyan or a color of your choice
  92. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow: 3/3/20/6 Color BLACK #000000
  93. Move where you like it
  94. On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer (The mini frame is still in your PSP memory)
  95. Effects - Plugins - Adjust Variations: Click Once Original, once on More Magenta and once on More Red or a color of your choice
  96. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow: 3/3/20/6 Color BLACK #000000
  97. Move where you like it
  98. Layers - New Raster Layer
  99. Paint Brush Tool - @nn_090615_Brush_008_Inger_tdstudio No need to adjust the settings

  101. Activate: @nn_070615_Deco-text_Inger_tdstudio.pspimage, Edit - Copy
