Filters:

    • alien skin eye candy 5: Impact

      Install the filter.

      Preparation:

      Copy Script, selections and brushes to your PSP folders
      or arrange here; File - Preferences - File locations
      Open tubes and images in your PSP program.

  • Preparation tutorial
    Foreground color = WHITE and your Background color = #6e7994.
  • Replace your Foreground color with a Foreground/Background Gradient (Rectangular)
    Materials:


    INFO: It you use your own images or tubes, make them the same size. !!!
    Note: This tutorial is made with X8, but can also be made in other PSP Versions, if not please let me know. In previous version some Blend Mode effects can be different 
    In PSP 14.15 & 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip. There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side. Please install the script

    From X7 is the original Mirror and Flip option available again.

    The tutorial

  1. File - New - choose the gradient - right mouse click in the color box:

  2. Adjust - Blur - radial blur:
  3. Layers - duplicate
  4. Effects - Distortion effects - Spyki Halo:
  5. Layers - New Raster layer
  6. Material palette - replace the foreground gradient with the white color
  7. Flood fill tool - fill the layer with white
  8. Layers - new mask layer - from Image:
  9. Layers - Merge - Merge group
  10. Activate the file: @nn_191118_misted_NY_Selma_tdstudio2.0.pspimage, Edit - Copy
  11. Edit - Paste as new layer on your work
  12. Layer palette: opacity: 55%, blend mode: normal
    Result:
  13. Layers - New Raster layer
  14. Selections - Load/save selection - load selection from disk and select my file::

  15. Flood fill tool - fill selection with white
  16. Selections - Deselect all
  17. Effects - Plugins - alien skin eye candy 5 - impact - perspective shadow - tab settings and choose my preset @nn_191118_Selma_EC5_PS.f1s
  18. Layers - New Raster layer
  19. Selections - Load/save selection - load selection from disk and select my file::
    @nn_191118_Selectie_002_Selma_tdstudio20.PspSelection en LADEN
  20. Flood fill tool and fill the layer with the dark background color - opacity: 100%
  21. Selections - Modify - Contract with1px
  22. Delete on your keyboard
  23. Materials: change the material from the foreground into a Fading white gradient with following settings
  24. Flood fill tool - decrease opacity to 35%,and fill the selection with the gradient
  25. Selections - Deselect all
  26. Layers - New Raster layer
  27. Selections - Load/save selection - load selection from disk and select my file::
    @nn_191118_Selectie_003_Selma_tdstudio20.PspSelection
  28. Flood fill tool and fill with dark background color- opacity: 100%
  29. Selections - Modify - contract with1px
  30. Delete on your keyboard
  31. Materials, same gradient, but invert checked
  32. Flood fill tool - decrease the opacity to 35%, and fill selection with the gradient
  33. Selections - Deselect all
  34. Result:
  35. Materials - Replace gradient with SOLID WHITE
  36. Layers - New Raster layer
  37. Paint Brush tool (B) and select my file in the drop down menu: @nn_191118_brush_001_Selma_tdstudio20,
    (the settings are OK) Stamp with the white foreground color
  38. Layers - New Raster layer
  39. Paint Brush tool (B) and select my file in the drop down menu: @nn_191118_brush_002_Selma_tdstudio20,
    (the settings are OK) Stamp with the white foreground color
  40. Layers - New Raster layer
  41. Paint Brush tool (B) and select my file in the drop down menu: @nn_191118_brush_003_Selma_tdstudio20,
    (the settings are OK) Stamp with the dark background color:

  42. Layers - New Raster layer
  43. Paint Brush tool (B) and select my file in the drop down menu: @nn_191118_brush_004_Selma_tdstudio20,
    (the settings are OK) Stamp with the dark background color.
  44. Result:

  45. Activate the Image:" Image_001.jpg", Edit - Copy
  46. On your work, Edit - Paste as new layer
  47. Effects - Image Effects - Offset:
  48. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow: 5/5/35/10 color black, all unchecked
  49. Again, Edit - Paste as new layer (the image is still in memory)
  50. Activate Selection Tool (K)

    with these settings:

    Tic any other tool to deactivate
  51. Effects - Image Effects - Offset:
  52. Effects - Plugins - alien skin eye candy 5 - impact - extrude - tab settings - choose my preset

  53. Effects - 3D Effects - drop shadow - tic OK
  54. Layers - duplicate
  55. Image -Mirror - mirror horizontal (Image - mirror in earlier versions):
  56. Activate the tube from Kitty: kittys-Ayari_small.pspimage, Edit - Copy
  57. On your work, Edit - Paste as new layer
  58. Effects - Plugins - alien skin eye candy 5 - impact - perspective shadow - tab SETTINGS and choose "Reflect in Front-Faint" - tic OK
  59. Move Tool: place the tube a little lower
  60. Layers - Merge - Merge all layers (flatten)
  61. Effects  3D Effects - Buttonize : 1/1/100/color/black
  62. We will use a script to make the frame. (View - Toolbars - script checked)
  63. Tic on the little blue arrow and search the script in the drop down menu.The script will make the frame without further help

  64. Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
