This tutorial assumes you have a good knowledge of the psp program

Materials: 2 tubes, brush, font DOWNLOAD MATERIALS HERE
If you do not work with PSP XI you can download the gradient here. Place it in your map “gradients”
Filters:
DragonFly (Sinedot), OptikverveLabs VirtualPhotographer, Richard Rosenman (Solid border)
Install all filters.

  1. Open the tube and the font, import your brush into your map brushes
  2. Open a new image 700x460 px transparent
  3. Your foreground on gradient
    In the category --> “Landscape” choose --> earth 1 (aarde 1)  (corel_06_043) see settings:

    Your background colour on #39452b (dark green)
  4. Flood fill your empty layer with this gradient
  5. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur: radius 25
  6. Adjust – Add/remove noise – Add noise:
  7. Change your colours, your foreground colour is now on solid green:
  8. With the brush tool, choose brush "@nn_penseel_lalique". Standard settings.
  9. stamp this brush 3 times on the same place in the middle of your tag:

10.  LAYERS - merge – merge all (colorize if you use other colours)

  1. Effects - filter Dragonfly - Sinedots see settings:
  2. Duplicate your work and minimize for the moment, continue with the original
  3. Layer palette: duplicate layer
  4. Image - resize:
  5. Layer palette: opacity: 100 – Blend mode : Soft light
  6. Layer palette- duplicate layer
  7. Image resize, same settings
  8. Layers palette: opacity: 100 - Blend mode: multiply
  9. Layer palette- duplicate layer
  10. Layers palette: opacity: 100 - Blend mode: dodge
    This is what you should have:
  11. Layer palette:  –merge, merge visibly
  12. Activate jour selection tool - custom selection   see settings:
  13. Image – crop to selection
  14. Image – add borders 1 px WHITE, symm. checked
  15. Image – add borders with these  settings:
  16. Activate the magic wand, see settings, pay attention "INSIDE"

  17. Select the solid green area
  18. Selections – promote selection to layer
  19. Selections - deselect
  20. Effects – texture effects –blinds see settings:
  21. Effects - Reflection-effects – rotating mirror see settings:
    Fill in your values first and check the option colour afterwards


  1. Layer palette: Opacity: 75 - Blend mode: Normal
  2. Image – add borders:

34.  Edit - Copy !!!!!!

  1. Activate the image you minimized before
  2. Image resize, see settings:
  3. Repeat step 30 --> Effects – reflection effects – rotating mirror,  same settings
  4. Effects - filter OptikverveLabs - Virtualphotographer – choose preset --> Halo
  5. Effects – texture effects – blinds same settings BUT horizontal now checked
  6. Effects – Illumination effects – sunburst see settings:
  7. Edit – paste as a new layer (CTRL+L)
  8. Activate the tube "@nn_Lalique_sinedot.psp" Edit – copy and paste as a new layer
  9. Effects – image effects - offset:
  10. Activate the tube "@nn_130307_nolies_.psp" bewerken - Edit – copy and paste as a new layer
  11. Move see example (or move to a place of your choice if you use your own material)
  12. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow see settings:
  13. Layer palette – merge, merge all
  14. Effects - filter Richard Rosenman see settings:
  15. Activate your text tool see settings:
  16. Your colours are as follows:
  17. Type the text “Lalique”
  18. Layers – promote to raster layer – move see example
  19. Effects - 3D effects – inner bevel see settings:
  20. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow see settings:
  21. Layers –merge, merge visibly
  22. Now we will make a background for the script
  23. Activate the selection tool - custom selection , see settings:
  24. This selection , Edit – copy and paste as a new IMAGE
  25. Effects – image effects – seamless tiling:
  26. Save both images as a jpg.
    Extra Example:
    Jille - tubes from Nicole and Calguis
